  • A Grippy & Waterproof Walking & Hiking Boot

The Lems Boulder Boot Grip Waterproof is a high-performance walking and hiking boot that’s designed to endure the rigors of the trail while keeping your feet happy, healthy, and dry. This durable, conscientiously designed boot incorporates a slip-resistant, non-marking, all-terrain rubber outsole that offers you incredible grip on a variety of surfaces and performs admirably in all kinds of climatic conditions. The unique outsole of the Boulder Boot Grip possesses siping grooves to enhance traction, and the genuine full-grain oiled leather upper includes a waterproof membrane and gusseted tongue.

Wide Toe Box, Zero-Drop Sole, Lightweight Design

Built into the Lems Boulder Boot Grip Waterproof are a number of foot-healthy design features, including a wide toe box that gives your toes ample room to splay, a zero-drop support platform that enhances foot and ankle stability, and a lightweight overall design that promotes higher-quality footfalls both on the trail and around town. The slightly thicker sole and taller stack height of the Boulder Boot Grip (13 mm without the optional 3.5 mm insole) make this a great “transitional” boot for those making the switch from conventional hiking footwear to more foot-healthy hiking footwear.

A Reliable Boot That Works Well With Other Helpful Footgear

If you’re looking for a reliable boot for the trail and beyond, look no further than the Lems Boulder Boot Grip Waterproof. With its 100 percent waterproof upper, high-traction rubber outsole, and thoughtful speed hooks for quicker lacing, this boot is a clear contender for the most rugged foot-friendly hiking boot out there. The Boulder Boot Grip also pairs nicely with other helpful footgear, including Correct Toes, Injinji toe socks, Pedag metatarsal pads, Naboso insoles, and Zensah compression sleeves. Each Lems Boulder Boot Grip Waterproof boot weighs about 14 oz.

  • To get the most out of your Lems Boulder Boot Grip Waterproof boots, the manufacturer recommends that you order your normal US shoe size. For example, if you normally wear a women's US size 8 shoe, consider ordering an 8 in the Lems Boulder Boot Grip Waterproof. If you are between sizes, order up to the next available size.

If you're on the fence about what size to order, consider ordering both sizes and then simply return the size that doesn't fit as well for a refund. If you have concerns about sizing, feel free to contact us or Lems customer service.

Sizing Tip #1: To create additional roominess within the boot, we suggest removing the included (optional) boot liner/insole; this action does not, in any way, affect the performance of the boot. Optionally, and to enhance balance, posture, agility, and general foot/body awareness, you might consider adding thin, flexible Naboso insoles instead.

Sizing Tip #2: Correct Toes toe spacers will often add width and length to the foot. If you’re planning to wear Correct Toes with your footwear, we recommend sizing up, especially if you are on the border between sizes.

From Our Customers

“I can finally run and walk with very little (if any) bunion pain. I bought the Lems Boulder Boot this summer and trekked 25 miles over two days with NO bunion pain. I put them side by side with my traditional hiking shoes and was appalled [...] THANK YOU!”

—R.W., Berkeley, CA

“The Lems Boulder Boots just arrived and they are wonderful. They feel so good, I don't want to take them off! Tried them out on the gravel driveway, which I go up and down on foot many times each day. Perfect! I love them! Thanks for the info and helpful products for making my feet with bunions feel great. And my knees, too! In gratitude and appreciation.”

—J.L., Leicester, NC

“I love these boots! And with Correct Toes, [they are] all the more satisfying. They really offer everything I want: healthy feet, very light, wonderful sense of the terrain upon which I am walking while plenty of protection from sharp protuberances, and the height offers protection from abrasions of the ankles.”

—J.F., Boulder, CO

“I just opened my mail on Saturday to find my Boulder Boots. I LOVE them. The fit is very nice and after just a few jaunts [...] I can tell they will be allowing my foot to return to normal. Thank you!”
