I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for offering this superior product [Strutz foot pads]. I work in a factory, twelve-hour shifts overnight standing in one place on concrete. They offer rubber mats to stand on. I was already using your toe spacers coupled with wide toe box, flexible, zero-drop minimalist shoes (all of which has tremendously helped my bunions and crooked toes—it's been a game-changer, my feet look and feel so much better!). But after a right knee injury, I suppose my gait change affected my left foot, and I began to have what felt like nerve pain shoot through the third and fourth toe of my left foot upon working for a few hours. No amount of moving or fidgeting helped. A while back I had ordered the Strutz foot pads but hadn’t really felt the need to use them. Well, I remembered I had them and decided to give them a try. The first night I was amazed—no pain! So I continued wearing them and discovered that, rubber mat or sheer concrete beneath my feet, I go all night pain-free. So my coworker was complaining of her foot problems, which included plantar fasciitis and a previous bone spur surgery. Since I really only needed the one on my left foot, I offered to let her try the other one on her worst foot. SHE LOVED IT. She has been asking me to order her a pair. So I just ordered another pair, so we can both have a complete set. I have also highly encouraged her to check out the website for all the great information that seems can’t be found anywhere else. I just received my fourth pair of shoes from Natural Footgear ... and I LOVE them. I have worn traditional athletic shoes most of my life [...] In my fifties, I started having ball of foot pain due to calluses forming on my metatarsals. I actually had the calluses cut off by a podiatrist, which was horribly painful and the calluses grew back. Then I began to notice my toes shifting, and a painful callus formed on the underside of my fourth toe because of the pressure my little toe was putting on it. I began looking for a solution and came across the wonderful bank of information on the Natural Footgear site. I ordered the toe spacers, toe socks, and a pair of brown Lems Primal 2 shoes in October 2016. Loved them. The transition to a minimalist shoe took a little time, but the more I wore the Primal 2, the more my toes rejected any other shoe that would try to bunch them up again. At this point, I now own a black pair of the Primal 2s, a pair of the Boulder Boots for hiking, and a pair of Topo ST-2s for walking/running. I wear the toe spacers 75 percent of the time, and the more I wear them, the better my feet feel. I have also added the metatarsal pads. The painful callus on the underside of my fourth toe is completely gone. The metatarsal calluses are greatly reduced and I expect them to disappear altogether. The pain in my feet is minimal at this point. We don't get many snow days in Black Mountain each year, so when we do, we are sure to make the most of them. I've done the outrageously expensive orthotics, and no, insurance didn't pay for them. I've done the cheap-o's, I've done the ones the doctor made FOR ME. I wore the Be Reals all day yesterday with my Correct Toes. I also did my kettlebell training in them this morning, and I must say they are awesome. I wanted to say thanks for the quick service on my recent order and provide you with a little feedback now that I have had the chance to use my “Correct Toes” for a couple of weeks. In 2009, I had a cheilectomy and Moberg osteotomy on both feet after suffering from hallux rigidus for years. The surgery was very successful and after healing, I was able to begin playing tennis again, although still with some discomfort. I’ve been wearing the Correct Toes device for two weeks at all times that I don’t have on shoes (including sleeping in them), and the difference has been profound. My feet no longer ache while I play, and there is little to no discomfort at all after I’m done. Due to the change in the geometry of my feet after the surgery, I had begun to develop a mallet toe on my right foot, and thanks to Correct Toes, the issue is no longer getting worse, and the pain in that toe has almost completely diminished. I have recently had three procedures on my right foot. Though I can't tell you the names of each procedure, I can tell you I had my bunion removed, bone removed from my three middle toes to straighten them, and some metatarsal bones cut and pinned and stapled in place. I bought a pair of the Lems Primal 2 (Thanks for helping get the right size the first time by the way). I went to work last night for the first time in 2 months wearing my new Primal 2 shoes with only a toe spacer on the right foot. But, on the left foot, I wore the "Correct Toes" all night. It was very comfortable. My doctors tell me there is nothing that can be done to correct the bunion on my left foot other than surgery. I am convinced that "Correct Toes" will keep my bunion from getting worse. As soon as my right foot heals some more I'll be wearing "Correct Toes" on that foot too because I need those toes to spread.
