A Zero-Drop, Wide Toe Box Hiking Boot
The Xero DayLite Hiker Fusion is a foot-shaped minimalist hiking boot that allows your foot to bend, flex, and move naturally. The DayLite Hiker Fusion is perfect for day hikes, multi-day treks, or even for casual wear around town. With its wide, anatomically appropriate toe box, zero-drop platform, and flexible sole, this boot offers you a barefoot feel and the opportunity to build strong, resilient feet that easily stand up to the challenges of the trail. Collapsible and packable, the Xero DayLite Hiker Fusion will quickly become one of your favorite trail companions.
Ballistic Mesh Upper, Tough Tech Toe Bumper
This comfortable, attractive, and well-constructed vegan hiking boot possesses a ballistic mesh upper and Tough Tech toe bumper, both of which help protect your feet from trail features, yet its thin and flexible 5.5 mm FeelTrue sole (with 3.5 mm lugs) gives you all the ground feel you need to be light and agile. The sole of the DayLite Hiker Fusion incorporates a dual-direction chevron tread pattern, which affords great grip on a variety of surfaces. This boot also includes huarache-inspired heel straps and adjustable instep straps so that you can find the perfect tension.
Works With Correct Toes, Lightweight Design
The Xero DayLite Hiker Fusion easily handles all terrain, from the rocks, roots, and earth of the trail to the pavement and concrete of urban jungles. This lightweight, barely-there hiking boot also works great in combination with other helpful footgear, including Correct Toes, Injinji toe socks, Pedag metatarsal pads, and Naboso insoles. Each Xero DayLite Hiker Fusion boot weighs about 12 oz.
Note: If you are new to using Xero footwear, we recommend that you start in slowly, gradually building up your wear-time and giving your body the chance to adapt to the thinner soles and the increased workload on your feet.

To get the most out of your Xero DayLite Hiker Fusion boots, the manufacturer recommends that you order your normal US shoe size. HOWEVER, because we recommend that women order the men's version of this boot (to achieve the greatest possible toe box width), you will need to adjust the sizing down by 1.5 to determine the comparable size in the men's version. An example:
If you normally wear a women's US size 8 shoe, the comparable men's size in this model would be a 6.5.
If you're on the fence about what size to order, consider ordering both sizes and then simply return the size that doesn't fit as well for a refund. If you have concerns about sizing, feel free to contact us or Xero customer service.
Sizing Tip #1: To create additional roominess within the boot, we suggest removing the included (optional) boot liner/insole; this action does not, in any way, affect the performance of the boot. Optionally, and to enhance balance, posture, agility, and general foot/body awareness, you might consider adding thin, flexible Naboso insoles instead.
Sizing Tip #2: Correct Toes toe spacers will often add width and length to the foot. If you’re planning to wear Correct Toes with your footwear, we recommend sizing up, especially if you are on the border between sizes. -
