A Waterproof Hiking Boot for Outdoor Adventures
The Xero Xcursion Fusion is a fully waterproof minimalist hiking boot that’s designed for rugged terrain and a variety of outdoor conditions. The Xcursion Fusion is ideal for long-haul trekking and backcountry adventures, but it works great for gentle day hikes, too. Incorporating a generous toe box, this healthy-foot-shaped hiking boot also boasts a zero-drop platform and a flexible sole—features that help ensure proper ground feel and allow your foot to become strong on its own.
High-Traction Sole, Ballistic Mesh Upper
This comfortable, yet tough-as-nails hiking boot includes a ballistic mesh upper and Tough Tech toe bumper for foot protection, and it also sports a gusseted tongue, sealed waterproof inner liner, and additional water-repellent membrane inside the outer mesh. The Xcursion Fusion's high-traction, 10 mm FeelTrue rubber sole, featuring a dual-direction chevron tread pattern and 3.5 mm lugs, offers you plenty of grip on a variety of surfaces and trail features.
Works Great With Other Beneficial Footgear
With it’s foot-healthy design features, durable materials, and impeccable construction, the expedition-ready Xero Xcursion Fusion is a trekker’s dream. This lightweight hiking boot also works great in combination with a variety of other helpful footgear, including Correct Toes, Injinji toe socks, Pedag metatarsal pads, and Naboso insoles. Each Xero Xcursion Fusion boot weighs about 13 oz.
Note: If you are new to using Xero footwear, we recommend that you start in slowly, gradually building up your wear-time and giving your body the chance to adapt to the thinner soles and the increased workload on your feet.

To get the most out of your Xero Xcursion Fusion boots, the manufacturer recommends that you order a half-size larger than your normal US shoe size. For example, if you normally wear a men's US size 11 shoe, consider ordering an 11.5 in the Xero Xcursion Fusion.
If you're on the fence about what size to order, consider ordering both sizes and then simply return the size that doesn't fit as well for a refund. If you have concerns about sizing, feel free to contact us or Xero customer service.
Sizing Tip #1: To create additional roominess within the boot, we suggest removing the included (optional) boot liner/insole; this action does not, in any way, affect the performance of the boot. Optionally, and to enhance balance, posture, agility, and general foot/body awareness, you might consider adding thin, flexible Naboso insoles instead.
Sizing Tip #2: Correct Toes toe spacers will often add width and length to the foot. If you’re planning to wear Correct Toes with your footwear, we recommend sizing up, especially if you are on the border between sizes. -
