  • A Lightweight & Waterproof Minimalist Hiking Boot

The Lems Waterproof Boulder Boot is a fully waterproof minimalist hiking and casual boot that supports natural foot health. This versatile, lightweight, and attractive boot incorporates a gusseted tongue, is completely flat from heel to toe, possesses a toe box that is widest at the ends of your toes, and is fully collapsible and packable, making it a great option for adventures near and far.

100% Full-Grain Oiled Leather Upper, Wide Toe Box

The Waterproof Boulder Boot’s upper is made of durable full-grain oiled leather to help improve boot longevity. The boot’s generous toe box is compatible with Correct Toes and allows you to experience the foot health benefits that come with natural toe splay. This barely-there boot contains no heel counter, toe counter, or shank, and it packs away easily, preserving space in your travel bag or luggage.

Works in Combination With Other Helpful Footgear

This stylish boot, which comes with two unique lace colors, also works great in combination with other helpful footgear, including Injinji toe socksPedag metatarsal pads, and Naboso insoles. The Lems Boulder Boot works well in temperatures as low as 15 degrees F (about -10 degrees C) when used with an appropriate sock. Each Waterproof Boulder Boot weighs about 13 oz.

Note: If you are new to using Lems footwear, we recommend that you start in slowly, gradually building up your wear-time and giving your body the chance to adapt to the thinner soles and the increased workload on your feet.

  • To get the most out of your Lems Waterproof Boulder Boots, the manufacturer recommends that you order a half-size up from your normal US shoe size. If you plan on wearing thicker socks with these boots, then consider ordering one full size larger than your normal US size. For example, if you normally wear a men's US size 11 shoe, consider ordering an 11.5, or possibly a 12 (in the case of the latter consideration), in the Lems Waterproof Boulder Boot.

If you're on the fence about what size to order, consider ordering both sizes and then simply return the size that doesn't fit as well for a refund. If you have concerns about sizing, feel free to contact us or Lems customer service.

Sizing Tip #1: To create additional roominess within the boot, we suggest removing the included (optional) boot liner/insole; this action does not, in any way, affect the performance of the boot. Optionally, and to enhance balance, posture, agility, and general foot/body awareness, you might consider adding thin, flexible Naboso insoles instead.

Sizing Tip #2: Correct Toes toe spacers will often add width and length to the foot. If you’re planning to wear Correct Toes with your footwear, we recommend sizing up, especially if you are on the border between sizes.

From Our Customers

“I can finally run and walk with very little (if any) bunion pain. I bought the Lems Boulder Boot this summer and trekked 25 miles over two days with NO bunion pain. I put them side by side with my traditional hiking shoes and was appalled [...] THANK YOU!”

—R.W., Berkeley, CA

“The Lems Boulder Boots just arrived and they are wonderful. They feel so good, I don't want to take them off! Tried them out on the gravel driveway, which I go up and down on foot many times each day. Perfect! I love them! Thanks for the info and helpful products for making my feet with bunions feel great. And my knees, too! In gratitude and appreciation.”

—J.L., Leicester, NC

“I love these boots! And with Correct Toes, [they are] all the more satisfying. They really offer everything I want: healthy feet, very light, wonderful sense of the terrain upon which I am walking while plenty of protection from sharp protuberances, and the height offers protection from abrasions of the ankles.”

—J.F., Boulder, CO

“I just opened my mail on Saturday to find my Boulder Boots. I LOVE them. The fit is very nice and after just a few jaunts [...] I can tell they will be allowing my foot to return to normal. Thank you!”
