A Transitional Shoe for Athletic & Casual Use
The Astral Brewess 2.0 is a highly comfortable shoe that meets the needs of outdoor pursuits enthusiasts and those making the leap to more foot-healthy shoes alike. A fantastic “transitional” shoe, the Brewess 2.0 offers those shifting from conventional footwear a smooth ride and an opportunity to build foot strength gradually. Hikers, rock scramblers, and watersports participants will appreciate this shoe’s hydrophobic (yet breathable) canvas upper and the incredible grip provided by its sticky G rubber outsole.
Level Platform, Wide Toe Box, Protective Sole
Built to embrace a variety of terrain and conditions, the versatile Astral Brewess 2.0 features a level footbed that promotes optimal foot and ankle stability and a generous toe box that gives your toes plenty of room to spread out. The medium-stack-height sole of this vegan sneaker allows you to go off-road with confidence, knowing that your foot will be protected from sharp trail features or debris. Use the attractive Brewess 2.0 for outings around town as well, as this shoe is well-suited to urban exploration.
Pairs Nicely With Other Natural Foot Health Tools
The Astral Brewess 2.0 can be successfully paired with other kinds of natural footgear. Use your Brewess 2.0s in combination with Correct Toes toe spacers to restore optimal toe alignment and prevent overpronation. Consider also using these shoes in conjunction with Injinji toe socks, Pedag metatarsal pads or Strutz foot pads, and Naboso insoles to help rehabilitate your feet and improve your overall foot health. Each lightweight Astral Brewess 2.0 shoe weighs about 8 oz.

To get the most out of your Astral Brewess 2.0 shoes, the manufacturer recommends that you order your normal US shoe size; however, we have found that it usually works best to order a half-size up in this model. For example, if you normally wear a women's US size 8 shoe, consider ordering an 8.5 in the Astral Brewess 2.0. If you are between sizes, order up to the next available size.
Women who have relatively wider feet may consider ordering the men’s version of this shoe to achieve the greatest possible toe box width. Simply adjust the sizing down by 1 to determine the comparable size in the men's version. For example, if you normally wear a women's US size 9 shoe, consider ordering a size 8 in the men's Astral Brewer 2.0 instead.
If you're on the fence about what size to order, consider ordering both sizes and then simply return the size that doesn't fit as well for a refund. If you have concerns about sizing, feel free to contact us or Astral customer service.
Sizing Tip: Correct Toes toe spacers will often add width and length to the foot. If you’re planning to wear Correct Toes with your footwear, we recommend sizing up, especially if you are on the border between sizes.
