A Minimalist Shoe for Hiking & Trail Running
The Xero TerraFlex is a high-performance minimalist trail running and walking shoe that protects your foot while still allowing it to flex, bend, and move in a natural way. The TerraFlex incorporates a padded and breathable mesh upper for increased comfort as well as lugged soles for additional traction on a variety of surfaces and trail features. With its foot-shaped design, zero drop platform, and rugged, yet flexible sole, this shoe is the perfect blend of form and function. The Xero TerraFlex packs away easily, making it simple to transport to and from your off-road adventures.
Attractive, Durable, & Lightweight Design
This attractive, durable, and lightweight vegan athletic shoe has a 6 mm FeelTrue sole, 4 mm lugs, and an optional (i.e., removable) 2 mm insole. It also possesses a Tough Tech toe bumper, a ballistic mesh upper, and 3 mm of embedded Barefoam in the sole—three features that enhance both foot comfort and foot protection. The TerraFlex is highly water-resistant, and it incorporates reflective and adjustable heel and instep straps that allow you to create the perfect snugness for your foot (while still allowing your toes plenty of room to splay).
Works Great with Other Helpful Footgear
The Xero TerraFlex pairs nicely with other beneficial footgear, including Correct Toes, Injinji toe socks, and Pedag metatarsal pads or Strutz foot pads. Using this footgear in combination with the TerraFlex can help address or prevent foot problems such as bunions, crooked toes, plantar fasciosis, and ball of foot pain. Each Xero TerraFlex shoe weighs about 8.5 oz.
Note: If you are new to using Xero footwear, we recommend that you start in slowly, gradually building up your wear-time and giving your body the chance to adapt to the thinner soles and the increased workload on your feet.

To get the most out of your Xero TerraFlex shoes, please consider the following general sizing suggestions:
The Xero TerraFlex runs about a half-size small. Consider ordering a half-size larger than you normally would. ALSO ... we recommend that women purchase the men's version of the TerraFlex, as it has a wider toe box that better accommodates Correct Toes.
So, for example, if you normally wear a women's US size 8 athletic shoe, the women's TerraFlex equivalent is an 8.5. To convert to men's sizing in this model, adjust down by 1.5 (in this case, to a men's US size 7).
Here is a TerraFlex sizing chart that provides additional clarity about what size to purchase in the men's version of this shoe:
Your Usual Women's US Shoe Size Suggested Women's US TerraFlex Size Equivalent Men's US TerraFlex Size 7.5 8 6.5 8 8.5 7 8.5 9 7.5 9 9.5 8 9.5 10 8.5 10 10.5 9 10.5 11 9.5 11 - 10 11.5 - 10.5 12 -11
Note: To create additional roominess within the shoe, consider removing the included (optional) liner/insole; this action does not, in any way, affect the performance of the shoe.
