  • A Foot-Shaped & Barefoot Hiking Boot

The Xero DayLite Hiker is a foot-shaped minimalist hiking boot that allows your foot to bend, flex, and move naturally. The DayLite Hiker is perfect for day hikes, multi-day treks, or even for casual wear around town. With its wide, anatomically appropriate toe box, zero drop platform, and flexible sole, this boot offers you a barefoot feel and the opportunity to build strong, resilient feet that easily stand up to the challenges of the trail. Foldable and packable, the Xero DayLite Hiker will quickly become one of your favorite trail companions.

    Comfortable, Eye-Catching, Well-Constructed

This comfortable, attractive, and well-constructed vegan hiking boot possesses a ballistic mesh upper and Tough Tech toe bumper, both of which help protect your feet from trail features, yet its thin and flexible 6 mm FeelTrue sole gives you all the ground feel you need to be light and agile. The sole of the DayLite Hiker incorporates a dual-direction chevron tread pattern, which affords great grip on a variety of surfaces. This boot also includes huarache-inspired heel straps and adjustable instep straps so that you can find the perfect tension.

Works Great with Correct Toes Toe Spacers

The Xero DayLite Hiker easily handles all terrain, from the rocks, roots, and earth of the trail to the pavement and concrete of urban jungles. This lightweight, barely-there hiking boot also works great in combination with other helpful footgear, including Correct Toes, Injinji toe socks, and Pedag metatarsal pads or Strutz foot pads. To create even more room inside the boot and experience an even more barefoot feel, consider removing the included (optional) insole. Each Xero DayLite Hiker boot weighs about 10 oz.

Note: If you are new to using Xero shoes, we recommend that you start in slowly, gradually building up your wear-time and giving your body the chance to adapt to the thinner soles and the increased workload on the feet.

  • To get the most out of your Xero DayLite Hikers, please consider the following general sizing suggestion:

The Xero DayLite Hiker runs about one full size small. Consider ordering a full size larger than you normally would. For example, if you normally wear a men's US size 10 shoe, consider ordering a men's US size 11 in the Xero DayLite Hiker instead.

For those who normally buy shoes with EU or UK sizing, use the handy conversion chart below to determine your best size.
