A Foot-Healthy Shoe for Active Outdoor Lifestyles
The Astral Loyak AC is a comfortable and foot-healthy minimalist shoe that covers a lot of bases. Possessing a durable Flex-Grip outsole and an ultra-fine ripstop mesh upper with TPU reinforcements (to guard against abrasion), the versatile Loyak AC can be worn casually for trips around town or it can serve as your go-to footwear for a variety of outdoor athletic pursuits, including walking, running, SUP, sailing, and fishing. The Loyak AC also packs away easily, making it a great travel footwear option.
Low Stack Height, Level Footbed, Wide Toe Box
Foot-friendly in its design, the low-stack-height Astral Loyak AC incorporates a level footbed that helps stabilize your main foot arch, and its wide toe box gives your toes plenty of room to spread out. The highly flexible sole of this functional footwear allows for excellent ground feel and helps you build a stronger, more resilient foot with each and every footfall. The Loyak AC’s non-marking, razor-siped, G rubber outsole also provides you with maximum grip for optimal traction on slippery surfaces.
Can Be Worn With Correct Toes & Other Natural Footgear
The Astral Loyak AC works well with a variety of other helpful footgear. Use your Loyak ACs in conjunction with Correct Toes toe spacers to realign your toes and build a healthier overall foot. Other beneficial items that you can use simultaneously with these shoes include Injinji toe socks and Pedag metatarsal pads or Strutz foot pads. We also recommend replacing the included (optional) liner with thin, textured Naboso insoles. Each lightweight Astral Loyak AC shoe weighs about 7 oz.
Note: If you are new to using Astral footwear, we recommend that you start in slowly, gradually building up your wear-time and giving your body the chance to adapt to the thinner soles and the increased workload on your feet.

To get the most out of your Astral Loyak AC shoes, the manufacturer recommends that you order your normal US shoe size. For example, if you normally wear a men's US size 11 shoe, consider ordering an 11 in the Astral Loyak AC. If you are between sizes, order up to the next available size.
If you're on the fence about what size to order, consider ordering both sizes and then simply return the size that doesn't fit as well for a refund. If you have concerns about sizing, feel free to contact us or Astral customer service.
Sizing Tip #1: To create additional roominess within the shoe, we suggest removing the included (optional) shoe liner/insole; this action does not, in any way, affect the performance of the shoe. Optionally, and to enhance balance, posture, agility, and general foot/body awareness, you might consider adding thin, flexible Naboso insoles instead.
Sizing Tip #2: Correct Toes toe spacers will often add width and length to the foot. If you’re planning to wear Correct Toes with your footwear, we recommend sizing up, especially if you are on the border between sizes.
