A Comfortable Shoe That’s Inspired by Nature
The Astral Hemp Loyak is a comfortable, foot-friendly shoe that harnesses the power of nature to provide your foot with a healthy environment in which to function. In addition to possessing a sticky Flex-Grip outsole, the thoughtfully-designed Hemp Loyak incorporates an environmentally-friendly hemp and recycled polyester upper that’s durable, breathable, and rot-resistant. Embrace all of life’s adventures with the Hemp Loyak, a shoe that strikes the perfect balance between performance and casual wear.
Built for Optimal Balance & Foot Function
Constructed with optimal balance and foot biomechanics in mind, the Astral Hemp Loyak offers your foot a level support platform and an industry benchmark sole that’s both incredibly grippy and highly flexible. With a tapering heel and instep for better foothold and control, a roomy toe box for optimal toe splay, and a low overall stack height for enhanced ground feel, this high-performance minimalist shoe allows your foot to function at its best and become strong all on its own.
Can Be Paired With Other Foot Health Tools
The Astral Hemp Loyak works great with a number of other helpful foot health tools. Use your Hemp Loyaks in combination with Correct Toes toe spacers to straighten your toes, prevent overpronation, and build a more robust foot. Other beneficial items that you can use in combination with these shoes include Injinji toe socks and Pedag metatarsal pads or Strutz foot pads. We also recommend replacing the included (optional) liner with thin, textured Naboso insoles. Each lightweight Astral Hemp Loyak shoe weighs about 7 oz.
Note: If you are new to using Astral footwear, we recommend that you start in slowly, gradually building up your wear-time and giving your body the chance to adapt to the thinner soles and the increased workload on your feet.

To get the most out of your Astral Hemp Loyak shoes, the manufacturer recommends that you order your normal US shoe size. For example, if you normally wear a women's US size 8 shoe, consider ordering an 8 in the Astral Hemp Loyak. If you are between sizes, order up to the next available size.
Women who have relatively wider feet may consider ordering the men’s version of this shoe to achieve the greatest possible toe box width. Simply adjust the sizing down by 1 to determine the comparable size in the men's version. For example, if you normally wear a women's US size 9 shoe, consider ordering a size 8 in the men's Astral Hemp Loyak instead.
If you're on the fence about what size to order, consider ordering both sizes and then simply return the size that doesn't fit as well for a refund. If you have concerns about sizing, feel free to contact us or Astral customer service.
Sizing Tip #1: To create additional roominess within the shoe, we suggest removing the included (optional) shoe liner/insole; this action does not, in any way, affect the performance of the shoe.
Sizing Tip #2: Correct Toes toe spacers will often add width and length to the foot. If you’re planning to wear Correct Toes with your footwear, we recommend sizing up, especially if you are on the border between sizes.
